Wellness Screening

Wellness or Health Screens are often an important component of a staff benefits package provided to all or some employees in an organisation.

Many companies offer them automatically as a 'perk' or as mandatory for certain staff, either on a regular basis or prior to promotion. Our health assessments are also often used for life insurance approval.

Wellness Screens typically carry out the following:

body mass index
blood pressure
blood and urine analysis
eyesight
hearing
nutrition and lifestyle stress factors
gynaecological or testicular health
review of health and lifestyle risks

Well Women assessments include breast examination and mammography (if over 40 years), a cervical smear to assist in identifying the risks of cervical cancer and blood analysis.

Results

Results are most effectively given during the consultation or during the same day. Although employers are not able to review the results without the employee’s consent, grouped anonymous data can be helpful to identify health trends within an organisation.
